Founded in 2016, The Maryland Dance Education services dance educators and elevates dance in the State of Maryland as a creative process, discipline, and performing art that informs the human experience in a variety of environments including, but not limited to, dance studios, K-12 schools, colleges, universities, recreational and community centers.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Maryland Dance Education Association seeks support from those who value dance education in Maryland and support the organization's mission.
