$10/general admission; $5/students, seniors, and teachers;

Children 5 and under are free.  

Limited tickets will be available at the door; cash/check only at the door.

​The Maryland Middle School Dance Showcase is sponsored by the Maryland Dance Education Association and commenced in 2019. We are excited to continue this event and offer middle school students a day of master classes and an opportunity to submit choreography for performance in an adjudicated evening concert.

 

The purpose of the Maryland Middle School Dance Showcase is to highlight instruction in middle school dance programs in the state of Maryland. The event provides master classes of high quality to broaden student experiences and expose students to school dance programs and educators throughout the state of Maryland. Students will have the opportunity to perform in front of a statewide audience.

 

All middle school dance programs (public/private/parochial/independent schools in MD with curricular dance programs) in Maryland are invited to participate in MDMSDS.

MDMSDS Information Packet

MDMSDS Intent Form -- Submit a completed Google document copy by the school/studio/program. Each school/group is limited to 20 dancers/participants.

​

The deadline for the intention form is Wednesday, December 18, 2023.  After that date, additional information will be released for video submission and in preparation for the spring event. 

​

All checks should be made payable to MDEA and
