31st Annual Maryland Public High School Dance Showcase
Friday, January 3, 2020 (snow date: January 6, 2020)
Goucher College, Towson, Maryland

​

The Showcase Concert begins at 7:00 PM in the Kraushaar Auditorium on the campus of Goucher College.  The concert is open to the public.  Tickets are only sold at the door: $10 adult; $5 senior/student.  Cash or check only.  

Information and forms will be sent out be Fine Arts Supervisors/Coordinators in late August and available via google site.  Showcase is for public high schools with fine arts dance taught during the academic day.  Showcase day includes masterclasses and student performances.

8th Annual Maryland Dance Alliance (MDA)

The Maryland Dance Alliance will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020 (snow date: March 3, 2020) at the Gordon Center for Performing Arts in Owings Mills, Maryland. 

​

The Maryland Dance Alliance will include a showcase performance at 7:00 PM that is open to the public.  Tickets will be available at the door only: $10/adults; $5/seniors and students; children 5 and under are free.  Cash or check only at the door.

This event is for high school age students in public schools, private/parochial/ independent schools, and private studios.  MDEA is proud to advance the MDA as a vehicle for recognizing and celebrating our dance schools with an honor society.  (Note: students attending MDA can be NHSDA students or non-NHSDA students.)

MD Council for Dance Festival 2018

MD Council for Dance is thrilled to announce plans for Festival 2018!  Our 46th Annual MD State Dance Festival is scheduled for October 19, 20, and 21, 2018 and will be held at Chesapeake College, Wye Mills, MD.  This unique event features a full weekend of master classes, lectures, and workshops, as well as a professional artists concert, a student showcase concert, and scholarship auditions.
