The Maryland Dance Education Association (MDEA) invites you to apply for the MDEA Conference Attendance Scholarship. This scholarship is designed to support your professional growth by helping to cover the registration costs for our 11th Annual MDEA Conference, Stronger Together: Uniting Our Voices to Move Dance Education Forward. 

 

The MDEA Conference Attendance Scholarship will cover the Early Bird registration fee. Please make sure that you register and apply by September 18, 2026 by 5pm.

To be eligible, you must:

​

• Be a current member of the MDEA.

• Be a current dance educator or a post-secondary dance student residing in Maryland.

​

Requirements:

​

• Complete Application (Early Bird Registration)

• NDEO/MDEA Member Number

• 1 Letter of recommendation

• Headshot

​

This scholarship is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant Maryland dance community.
