Southwest Baltimore Charter School (SBCS) is looking for a full-time Dance Educator for the 2017 - 2018 school year. SBCS is a K-8 Expeditionary Learning, Arts Integration public charter school that believes in finding different ways to reach the youth of today. Job Description: Teach four dance classes per day (5th - 8th grade) Ability to teach multiple genres of dance including but not limited to Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Composition and World Dance Produce middle grades dance productions in connection to the Schools’s Academic Culminating Event Mentor a group of young students Qualifications: Applicants must have a terminal degree in Dance (BA or higher), teaching certificate preferred.
