Summer Work for Fine Arts Teachers
Young Audiences is hiring fine arts teachers of all disciplines (music, dance, theatre, visual and multi-media art) who are also practicing artists to teach in our five-week, arts-integrated Summer Arts and Learning Academy, July 9-August 10, 2018. At the Academy, fine arts teachers have the opportunity to step into the role of teaching artists, collaborating with an experienced City Schools academic teacher to design and deliver arts-integrated lessons every morning. In the afternoons, teaching artists teach “pure” art classes in your respective art form.
Full-day Teaching Artists:
Receive a competitive salary ($8,750 for the five-week Academy and one week of professional development)
